Root Beer Chugging Contest

If you’re willing to show your stuff, you’ll win a neat trophy along with $100!

Your favorite area radio stations will be on the air seeking a “ringer” to represent them in the annual WV Hot Dog Festival Root Beer Chuggin’ contest at 2:30pm! You just need to be one of the first six to sign up to represent the Clear Channel radio station of your choice in the contest! You can win some neat prizes, and bragging rights for the full YEAR, while your $10 donation helps some great kids in our region working hard on getting well.

You must be one of the first six contestants to register on the day of the festival to compete. Our registration booth is located at the Pullman Square clock (next to the stage). A $10 donation is requested for the charity. Register early to represent your favorite Clear Channel radio station! Be listening for your name to come to the stage area right before 2:30, so you can stand with fellow contestants...ready to WIN BIG!

When you hear the DJs’ appeals—call the station and let them know YOU want to be the winner!! You must check in at the WV Hot Dog Festival registration table the day of the event to participate and receive your gift bag!
